(LEND-95) will be held in St.Petersburg (Russia) from 18 to 22 April 1995
(April 17 - arrival day, April 23 - departure day). The scientific programme
of the Conference covers the following main topics:
       *       Reaction Dynamics
       *       Fusion - Fission Phenomena
       *       Neutron Physics
       *       Deformed Shells; Nuclear Spectroscopy
       *       Exotic Nuclei

                     CONTRIBUTIONS AND PROCEEDINGS
   The EPS NP Divisional Conference (LEND-95) will consist of plenary sessions
of 45 min. invited talks, parallel sessions of 30 min. original reports and a

                           CONFERENCE SITE
   The Conference will take place at the St.Petersburg Educational Center of
the Russian Ministry of Atomic Energy. St.Petersburg is the second largest
city in Russia, with a population of about 5 million. It was founded in 1703
by the Russian tsar Peter the Great, who called his new city in honour of his
patron Saint Peter. During World War 1 the city's name was changed to Petrograd
(which means City of Peter). After the October revolution it was
called Leningrad up to 1991 when the original name of St.Petersburg was
restored. The city has many beautiful buildings, parks, cultural and historical
places. "The Hermitage" still remains one of the greatest art museums in
the world. St.Petersburg, together with its close-by towns of Petrodvorets,
Tsarskoe selo and others, offers a lot for sight-seeing.

                 ACCOMMODATION AND SOCIAL PROGRAMME
   All participants will be accommodated in the hotel of St.Petersburg
Educational Center. Social events, excursions to the historical places and
museums of St.Petersburg will be offered. Accompanying persons' programme will
also be organized.

                          REGISTRATION FEE
   The registration fee will amount to: US $ 600 - for a participant and
US $ 350 - for an accompanying person. It will include hotel accommodation,
meals, refreshments during the breaks, social programme and the Conference
Proceedings. It will include also transportation from Pulkovo International
Airport and St.Petersburg Railway Stations, if the organizers get in advance
information about the exact date, time and place of arrival of participants and
accompanying persons. The fee must be paid in cash at the time of registration.

                         FINANCIAL SUPPORT
   A limited number of grants will be available to help partially with the
expenses. Priority will be given to young scientists and should not include
travel expenses.
