The Crimea (Simferopol) can be reached by air, car or train. In
Simferopol a Conference bus will be provided for the participants to
reach the site. Simferopol has direct air connection with e.g. Kiev,
Moscow, Odessa, St.Petersburg and a single international direct charter
flight from- and to Frankfurt. The Conference will be scheduled such as
to match with this (weekly, on Saturdays, according to the present
schedule - to be confirmed, see next bulletin!) flight. More details on
this flight (company, departure and arrival times, price, phone-, fax
numbers, etc) will be also provided in that bulletin.
Transit via Kiev (having direct air connection with many capitals)
is also convenient. You may like to join a group of participants leaving
Kiev by a night train on the eve of the Conference and returning to Kiev
in the same way. The price of the train ticket between Kiev and
Simferopol in a sleeping car is about $ 30. Alternatively, you may
choose one among several dayly flights between Kiev and Simferopol, the
price being about $ 100 (one way; no round-trip reduction).

(Sebastopolis), Hersones (ancient Greek polis), Bakhchisaray (ancient
Tartar capital) and other touristic sights may be organized by individual
    request.
