The RIKEN Symposium on Spin Structure of the Nucleon will be held at
Nishina Hall, RIKEN, from December 18 to 19, 1995. The symposium covers
current topics of the polarized nucleon structure functions and related
subjects, and physics beyond the standard model. The fields of hadron/nuclear
and particle physics from GeV to TeV energy region are included. Recent
activities and development on the RHIC spin project, which utilizes the
RHIC as a polarized proton-proton collider at the center-of-mass energy of
50 to 500 GeV, are also included.

The symposium will consist of about fifteen invited talks/lectures presented
by leading physicists in the field and short oral presentations. We expect
a hot discussion after each presentation of invited speaker. Participants
should feel free to show a few viewgraphs during the discussion time if
needed.

Registration:

If you plan to attend the symposium, you are requested to fill in the
Application Form for Registration and send it to the symposium secretariat by
November 30, 1995. The registration is free. We encourage young physicists
to participate the symposium. There is supporting funds for travel and
accomodation though the amount is limited. An earlier expression of interest
is recommended.

Symposium site and accommodation:

The symposium will be held at Nishina Hall, RIKEN. The access guide to RIKEN
is on the www, ``http://www.rarf.riken.go.jp/riken/access/access.html'' A
limited number of rooms will be available at the lodging house of Nishina Hall.
We also arrange accommodations at the Hotel Cygnas in front of Asaka station.
