Acceleration of the polarized protons at RHIC provides a unique opportunity to investigate the spin structure of the nucleon. Overview of the polarized proton beam at RHIC will be presented. The current status of the two major experiments, PHENIX and STAR, will be presented. The feasibility and the sensitivity of PHENIX experiment will be discussed.
