Research Areas
The RIKEN BNL Research Center was established in April 1997 at Brookhaven National Laboratory in New York, USA. The Center is dedicated to study of strong interactions, including hard QCD/spin physics, and RHIC physics through nurturing of a new generation of young physicist.
The theory group consists of two sub groups: perturbative QCD and phenomenological QCD. The perturbative QCD group has developed various new methods required for studying hadron structures, especially in spin physics research. The phenomenological QCD group has pioneered the researches of color superconductivity, isospin density, and small-x phenomena in extreme hadronic matters.
Research Subject
- Lattice QCD numerical research
- Perturbative QCD
- Phenomenological QCD
